K&L Care Nursing provides professional skilled services at home, as ordered and directed by your healthcare provider. We start with a comprehensive assessment to determine your care needs, goals, and objectives. We work closely with your physician and caregiver to create a care plan that fits your individual needs and caters to your individual recovery goals. Once the care plan is approved, the nurses work with you, your family, your medical team, and any other clinicians you may have to reduce hospitalizations and ER visits.

Home Health Aide

Home health aides work under the supervision of a registered nurse or therapist. Services primarily consist of assistance with personal care. A home health aide may assist patients by giving a bath, providing oral care, foot care, shampooing, shaving, skin care, and changing linens. Under Medicare, a home health aide may stay in the home for a limited time or for a visit only and is authorized to provide personal care only.

Our home health aides are trained to advocate for the client and report to the nurse in charge if they notice the patient’s condition worsening. They also undergo special training in dementia care.
